About me

My photographic journey commenced with my studies in Communication in Mexico City and extended into the realm of visual art on an international scale.
Upon discovering my passion for photography during my years of study in the Mexican capital, I chose to refine my skills through specialized studies in color and documentary photography in the United Kingdom. The pivotal point in my career unfolded in 2012 when life led me to Algiers, Algeria. This captivating city, with its mesmerizing desert landscapes, vibrant sunsets, and the richness of everyday life, emerged as my primary wellspring of inspiration.
In 2014, upon relocating to Bern, Switzerland, I solidified my academic background and graduated as a photographer. This country provided me with the opportunity to delve into technical aspects, unveiling my profound connection with nature. Mountains, lakes, and forests now take center stage in my visual style. My inaugural book, “707 Days in Algeria,” underwent its final editing in Switzerland and was published online in 2016 through the Blurb publishing platform.
The project ‘707 Days in Algeria’ has been showcased with distiction in well-attended exhibitions. It found resonance in Mexico City, gracing venues like the IMJUS Coyocán and the Postgraduate School of Economics of the UNAM. Additionally, it reached an international audience in Madrid, Spain, where it was exhibited at esteemed locations such as the French Lyceum of Madrid and La Burbujería.
Photography not only remains my present passion but also shapes my vision for the future. As a traveler, food lover, appreciator of cultural diversity, and eternal fan of light, colors, and landscapes, I channel my focus into portraits, urban landscapes, nature, and reportage. Dance serves as a perpetual source of inspiration for me.
At present, I am embarking on the creation of my second book, “A Costa da Morte,” further affirming my commitment to visual exploration and storytelling through the lens.
